Davenport was a wildcard in Canada |
Lindsay Davenport's impressive comeback continued with a second title in three events at the Quebec City Challenge. The ex-world number one, who returned to action in September after nearly a year out, defeated Julia Vakulenko 6-4 6-1 for the 53rd title of her career.
Davenport, who gave birth to son Jagger in June, won her comeback event in Bali two months ago, beating world number three Jelena Jankovic on the way.
"The journey back has been greater than I could have anticipated," she said.

"It has been a much different experience coming back this time around - I just feel a lot less pressure, and I'm just trying to enjoy it as I go."
Davenport is now tied with Monica Seles for eighth on the all-time women's winners list.
Asked what goals she had set for herself ahead of the first Grand Slam event of 2008, the Australian Open in January, Davenport said: "It's kind of undefined.
