SECOND SET
Murray 6-1 6-3 Chela
Chela looks a broken man. The last game was his big chance to get back into the match. Murray has two match points after a tired forehand into the net from Chela. He fails to take the first but claims the second. Murray was superb, but it could be Nadal next.
Murray 6-1 5-3 Chela
Murray hits his fifth ace - his serve certainly is a useful weapon in his arsenal. But Chela has been poor but dogged and pulls it back to 30-30. Murray adopts a serve-and-volley approach to make it 40-30 before his unforced error brings the game to deuce. Chela has another break point after another Murray error. The Scot survives after his opponent hits long cross-court. Murray composes himself to win the game with an ace.
Murray 6-1 4-3 Chela
Murray plays an exquisite volley in the game, but Chela wins the game. The 20-year-old still holds the advantage.
Murray 6-1 4-2 Chela
A double fault gives Chela two break points. The Argentine makes the first one count. He drop shots Murray's drop shot. Bit of light for the 28-year-old?
Murray 6-1 4-1 Chela
Two sensational shots from Murray light up the arena and bring the crowd to their feet. Both were forehand shots down the line when it seemed impossible he would get to the ball. A gorgeous backhand, again down the line, gives him the break. A truly memorable game.
Murray 6-1 3-1 Chela
Chela has break point. Shall I repeat that? Handed courtesy of a forehand into the net from the Scot. A world-class serve and forehand into the corner gets Murray out of the spot of bother. A serve and smash at the net makes it 3-1. The Madrid ball-girls/models are not around for this match. Just in case some of you guys wanted to know.
"Chela is useless."

You seem like a straight-to-the-point person.
Murray 6-1 2-1 Chela
Chela wins a game. The second of the night. His coach is restrained from popping open the bubbly.
Murray 6-1 2-0 Chela
For quite a slight lad, Murray has a fantastic serve. An ace puts him two games to love ahead. I think with Chela it may have something to do with the fact he is wearing his cap back-to-front. Not scientifically proven, mind you.
Murray 6-1 1-0 Chela
Chela may be wondering whether he can get a flight back to Argentina after the match. A double fault hands Murray another early break. exhibition baseline power from the Scot.
FIRST SET
In answer to your question Anhar, Oor Andy will play either Marcos Baghdatis or some unknown by the name of Rafael Nadal.
Murray 6-1 Chela
Murray is hauled back to 30-30. But that does not faze the lad. A useful serve followed by an unforced error from Chela hands Murray the first set.
"Murray looks to be in good form, does anyone who could he face next if he gets through"
Anhar via text
I'll get on the case Anhar.
Murray 5-1 Chela
Chela has only won four points from 14 on his second serve. Not good stats. Murray has break point to win the set but fails to convert it from the baseline. A deuce battles ensues but Chela finally comes out on top. Well done, son.
"Anybody notice that before the match started he's a '20-year-old Scot' and now he's 3-0 up he's 'the wiry Brit'?"
Tony Harrison on 606
Give me some credit Tony. I'm trying to mix it up a bit. I promise not to describe him as a European though.
Murray 5-0 Chela
Biggest shock of this game was that Murray gave away a point on his serve. Ruthless.
Murray 4-0 Chela
Murray plays the best shot of the match so far with a sublime lob to level at 30-30. Better than one of mine! Chela is taken to deuce again but seems to be dependent on Murray making mistakes. Murray breaks the Argentine again. Nightmare for the South American.
"What are the chances of Lucy Pinder and Keeley at Wimbledon if Madrid are allowed model ball girls? Oh I say!"
ayrshire via text
Well, if Lucy and Keeley are reading this.....I guess the LTA may have something to do with employment issues too.
Murray 3-0 Chela
Murray wins another game to love. Almost faultless stuff from the wiry Brit. He has dropped only four points.
Murray 2-0 Chela
Chela suffers a bit in his first service game and is taken to deuce. Murray challenges a Chela serve - computer says "no". A double fault from the Argentine leads to break point before failing to return a firm Murray forehand. Early break for Murray.
Murray 1-0 Chela
Murray serves to start the match and breezes to a love game - Chela did not move much. I'm intrigued by the red boxes/booths for the spectators around the Pista Central court. Intrigued and a little bit disturbed.
2033: Roger Federer was given quite a decent match by Robby Ginepri, but the world number one battled past the American showing some sensational form.
Next up on the Pista Central court is Britain's best Andy Murray who faces Argentine world number 16 Juan Ignacio Chela.
The 20-year-old Scot has won two out of their previous three meetings, including the most recent which was at this year's Australian Open.
