Britain's Jamie Murray and partner Eric Butorac lost to the same doubles pair for the second week in a row at the Indianopolis Tennis Championships. Murray and American Butorac were second seeds but lost 6-3 3-6 10-6 in the quarter-finals to American wildcards Scott Lipsky and David Martin.
Murray and Butorac were beaten in straight sets by Lipsky and Martin at last week's event in Los Angeles.
In the singles, defending champion James Blake reached the last eight.
Blake eased past Brazilian Ricardo Mello 6-4 6-2 and will now play fellow American Sam Querrey.

Querrey, 19, survived two match points before upsetting fifth seed Ivo Karlovic 5-7 7-5 7-6.
"I don't think I've ever saved a match point on the ATP tour and won a match," said Querrey.
Japan's Kei Nishikori created a stir when he reached the quarter-finals with a 6-3 3-6 6-1 triumph over Michael Berrer of Germany.
The 17-year-old qualifier, who trains at Nick Bollettieri's academy in Florida, is through to his first ATP quarter-final before he has even turned professional.
"I can't believe it," said the teenager, a hitting partner of Roger Federer's at Wimbledon this year.
"I came here and I'm just playing good. It's unbelievable."
