Defending champion Justine Henin produced a fearsome display to beat Jelena Jankovic and set up a French Open final against Ana Ivanovic. Henin overcame Serbia's Jankovic 6-2 6-2 in the second semi-final, after Ivanovic had beaten Maria Sharapova.
Belgian Henin will try to win a third successive Roland Garros title, and fourth in total, when she takes on Ivanovic, also of Serbia, on Saturday.
"I expected a tough battle against Jankovic," said Henin.
"All our previous games have been that way so I tried to take command right from the start.

"I think she took a heavy blow to her morale by losing her serve so easily at the end of the first set and that allowed me to open strongly in the second set.
"It will be a very hard match against Ivanovic."
The semi-final started with both players firing on all cylinders and it was Jankovic who showed the first sign of weakness, a backhand error giving up the initial break in game four.
A Jankovic double-fault gave Henin the set in game eight and, although the Serb kept in touch in the second, two breaks in three games saw Henin move 4-2 clear.

Jankovic battled on but wayward groundstrokes at crucial moments proved her downfall and a backhand error on match point handed Henin the win.
"It was disappointing for me to lose like this but Justine was a way better play than I was today," said the 22-year-old Jankovic.
"All credit to her, she played flawless. She was just too good. She was hitting the ball clean and I wasn't.
"I was making mistakes and playing the wrong shot at the wrong time. It was a bad day for me."
