Great Britain will begin their 2007 Davis Cup campaign against the Netherlands at the Birmingham NEC. Britain were given a bye for the first round but will play the Netherlands, who are seeded second in Euro-African Zone One, on home soil on 6-8 April.
John Lloyd, GB captain, said: "I am really excited to be playing in front of a home crowd in Birmingham."
If Britain win, they will then face a play-off to go into the World Group, which is the top tier of the Davis Cup.
World number 84 Raemon Sluiter is the top-ranked Dutch player with Andy Murray, who is currently 17th, expected to lead British hopes.
Britain beat Ukraine in Lloyd's first match in charge to preserve their status in the Euro-African Zone One.

Lloyd, who himself played for Britain in 23 Davis Cup ties between 1974 and 1986, admitted that it was a good draw for his team.
"I'm very happy with the draw," said Lloyd. "Playing in front of a home crowd will be a huge boost to the team.
"The Netherlands are clearly a quality side but April's tie is certainly one we can win and with six months to prepare, we will be very confident going into the match."
The Netherlands dropped out of the World Group after losing in a play-off in September to the Czech Republic.
Great Britain have beaten the Netherlands both times they have met in the Davis Cup but the last occasion was in 1960.
The last time the teams met in Britain was in 1948 when the home team won 4-1 on grass at Edgbaston.
