Henin-Hardenne 5-0 Jankovic
The final set is disappearing fast as far as Jankovic is concerned. It's a shame for the Serbian but Henin-Hardenne has upped her game dramatically and the difference in class is clear. Another break and Henin-Hardenne will serve for the match.

Henin-Hardenne 3-0 Jankovic

Henin-Hardenne 2-0 Jankovic
Henin-Hardenne holds serve, despite still not looking totally happy, but it would seem to be a long way back for Jankovic now.
Henin-Hardenne 1-0 Jankovic

Henin-Hardenne 5-4 Jankovic
Jankovic is still able to dominate rallies but will not step in enough to finish them off, as nerves and an increasingly strong wind take effect. At 15-30, the Serbian is in trouble but Henin-Hardenne plays two awful returns to let her off the hook. It's an edgy game from both players but Henin-Hardenne comes through after five deuces by winning an epic rally with a cross-court forehand.
Henin-Hardenne 4-4 Jankovic
Jankovic spends the changeover arguing with the umpire about a call - which she should have challenged at the time if she had been that bothered. When the game starts, Henin-Hardenne hits double figures for double faults and number 11 then gives Jankovic a break point. Jankovic gets a little passive during the key rally and Henin-Hardenne holds on.
Henin-Hardenne 3-4 Jankovic
Jankovic has a point to hold serve - which is as good as a break at the moment - but cannot convert. From 0-30 she makes a couple of first serves but a double fault lets Henin-Hardenne back in at deuce. The Belgian earns a break point and Jankovic nets a volley - we're back on serve.
Henin-Hardenne 2-4 Jankovic
Jankovic spends a lot of time either stumbling backwards or doing the splits, which only adds to the entertainment value. At deuce she successfully challenges when a forehand is called out, and Henin-Hardenne obliges with her now customary double fault to give up yet another break.
Henin-Hardenne 2-3 Jankovic
The winning post is in sight and it appears to get to Jankovic. She starts with a double fault and slips to 15-40, at which point Henin-Hardenne finds her range on the forehand to break back.

Everything looks to be going Jankovic's way when she makes a winning volley while on her backside. Henin-Hardenne steels herself and at 0-30 successfully serve-volleys. It appears to galvanise the Belgian but the frailty on serve remains, with another double fault at deuce, and Jankovic makes another backhand down the line to break.

Henin-Hardenne 0-1 Jankovic
The force is with Jankovic at the moment - she makes one forehand winner while practically on her knees and holds to love.
First set
Henin-Hardenne 4-6 Jankovic
This is hardly Ivanisevic v Sampras - and maybe the better for it. Neither player can hold serve at the moment and after Henin-Hardenne's sixth double fault, Jankovic clinches the set at the second opportunity with a fizzing backhand winner down the line.
Henin-Hardenne 4-5 Jankovic
Two backhand errors from Jankovic give Henin-Hardenne two break points. She sends the return long on the first and nets the second - but the Belgian then challenges and the serve was long, handing her the game. Bit cheeky that, as Henin-Hardenne appeared to go for the return before challenging.
Henin-Hardenne 3-5 Jankovic
Jankovic does not look ready to bow to the world number two. She earns another break point and dominates the rally, forcing Henin-Hardenne to send a backhand into the net.
Henin-Hardenne 3-4 Jankovic
The natural order appears to have been restored. Henin-Hardenne moves 0-30 up and then scrambles back what looks set to be a Jankovic winner, prompting the Serbian to net a backhand. Another error follows and Henin-Hardenne is back on serve.
Henin-Hardenne 2-4 Jankovic
Jankovic is dominating the rallies from the baseline now and is increasingly happy to step in and take on anything slightly short. Henin-Hardenne is in trouble again at 0-30 but finds a backhand winner, a big first serve and a smash to get to game point. A trademark off-backhand winner follows and that might give the 2003 champion a boost.
Henin-Hardenne 1-4 Jankovic
A blistering Henin-Hardenne backhand down the line brings the first "Allez!" of the day, and two break points, but she then nets twice. Another chance comes along, another error - this time on the forehand - and the Belgian does not look happy. After three deuces, Jankovic takes what could be a crucial game when Henin-Hardenne nets yet another return.
Henin-Hardenne 1-3 Jankovic
Jankovic has already found the kind of form that saw off Vaidisova, Kuznetsova and Dementieva in earlier rounds. The Serbian's backhand is the dominant shot at the moment and successive winners give her another break of serve.
Henin-Hardenne 1-2 Jankovic
Good stuff from the 21-year-old Jankovic who holds her nerve from deuce to edge ahead thanks to some fine serving.
Henin-Hardenne 1-1 Jankovic
Maybe this will not be as straightforward as expected - Henin-Hardenne opens with two double faults, falls 0-40 behind and then loses a lengthy rally to see her early advantage disappear.
Henin-Hardenne 1-0 Jankovic
Jankovic sprays a forehand wide on the first point and looks to have made another error on the second, but a challenge proves otherwise. Jankovic then nets the following forehand anyway. At 30-30, Henin-Hardenne delivers the 1-2 of backhand-forehand and a Jankovic double fault gives up the break.
