Murray announced he was splitting from Petchey on Friday |
Teenager Andy Murray's first match since splitting with coach Mark Petchey will be against France's Jean-Rene Lisnard in Monte Carlo next week. The Scot is without a coach in Monaco and is in no hurry to replace Petchey, with whom he parted company on Friday, citing a "difference of opinion".
Fellow Briton Greg Rusedski faces Juan Ignacio Chela in his opening match, while Tim Henman meets Gaston Gaudio.
Murray will also pair up with Henman for the first time in the doubles.
The duo will play Jarkko Nieminen and Tomas Berdych in their first match together.
Henman admitted former French Open champion Gaudio would prove a tough obstacle.
"There's no doubting Gaston's clay court pedigree," he told his official website.
 | I've always done well against him |
"You've got to be a bit special to win the French Open and he's one of a handful of guys that is always going to be there or there about at the business end of most of the clay-court events he plays."
Henman has won all his three previous matches against Gaudio, including two on clay, one of which took place in Monte Carlo.
"I've always done well against him so I've got a pretty good idea as to what I will want to try and do once I get out there on court," added Henman.
"I'm hitting the ball well in practice and I feel good physically so hopefully that will give me the best possible chance of playing well, which I'll need to do to win."
