Third seed David Nalbandian fought back to beat Czech Tomas Berdych 6-7 6-1 6-0 and reach the fourth round of the Nasdaq-100 Open on Sunday. Argentina's Nalbandian, a semi-finalist at this year's Australian Open, broke Berdych's serve five times.

World number three Nalbandian now faces Czech 15th seed Radek Stepanek, who beat Chile's Nicolas Massu 6-7 7-6 7-5.
Russian Nikolay Davydenko, seeded fifth, went through 2-6 6-2 7-5 against Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis, the Australian Open runner-up.
And Croatian Mario Ancic advanced with a 7-6 6-7 6-2 triumph over Florent Serra of France.
