Henman 1-6 Nadal
Nadal ensures his progression to the semi-finals in Dubai for the first time in his career as he rounds off victory with another comfortable service game. Henman bows out looking understandably frustrated at wasting so many chances.
Henman 1-5 Nadal
Nadal drives home his advantage as Henman suffers another service break. A bad call at 0-30 upsets Henman even more and his opponent fires off another fierce winner to take him nearer to victory.
Henman 1-4 Nadal
Nadal ruthlessly punishes Henman with an error-free service game to put himself in the box seat. The Briton is unable to retrieve the Spaniard's full array of left-handed deliveries and looks a beaten man.
Henman 1-3 Nadal
Henman double-faults to slump to 0-40 on his own serve as his game starts to come apart. Nadal then finishes off a relatively easy break of service with a sublime forehand on Henman's right hand side.
Henman 1-2 Nadal
It's the same old story for Henman as he squanders another three break points to allow Nadal to bring it back to deuce. Nadal then forces Henman to return into the net for advantage before the Briton's limp backhand drifts out as his young opponent escapes to win a crucial game.

Henman's second love service game of the match sees him draw level. The 31-year-old still looks up for the fight and shows good accuracy with his first serves.
Henman 0-1 Nadal
Nadal steamrollers his way to an early advantage in the second set with a clinical service game as Henman bids to compose himself after the disappointment of losing the first set.

Henman 6-7 (1-7) Nadal
Despite all his efforts to fight back, Henman's game falls apart in the tie break as Nadal quickly races to 3-0. Henman then aces for 3-1 but then crucially double faults. A misjudged forehand then gives Nadal a 5-1 lead before Nadal rounds off the set on his two serves and celebrates with a shake of the fist as he clinches the first set.
Henman 6-6 Nadal
Nadal takes the game into a tie break as Henman suddenly loses his accuracy from the baseline and his opponent serves out comfortably.
Henman 6-5 Nadal
Henman's third game in a row thrusts himself into the lead. The Briton has the momentum now and looks dominant at the net. Nadal is the player who looks to be wobbling as the set reaches its climax.
Henman 5-5 Nadal
An exquisite cross-court backhand from Henman sets up two break points. This time he manages to convert his chances but only when Nadal double faults for the second time in the match at 15-40.
Henman 4-5 Nadal
Henman bravely staves off four break points to keep himself alive in the first set. After fighting back from 0-40 down, the Briton sees out the game with a superb ace wide out to Nadal's forehand side on advantage.

Nadal fires his fifth ace of the match down the middle to wrap up his first love service game to leave Henman floundering.

Henman bounces back with a solid service game to keep himself in the first set as he starts to assert himself at the net.
Henman 2-4 Nadal
Henman suffers after failing to convert two break points. Nadal levels it with a rasping 211kph serve and then takes advantage as Henman's overcooked volley at the net goes long. Nadal then takes the game with a fierce forehand for a two-game lead.
Henman 2-3 Nadal
Henman drops his serve as a blistering double-fisted backhand from Nadal sees him execute his first break point. Despite fighting back from 0-30 down to 40-30, Henman is unable to capitalise. He pays the price for coming in on a weak second serve at 40-40 before Nadal punishes then clinches the game.
Henman 2-2 Nadal
Nadal draws level as a high percentage of first serves enable him to secure a love game, although Henman again looks eager to apply the pressure.

Another confident love service game for Henman. The British number three looks confident while Nadal is clearly taking time to find his best form.

Nadal is forced to save three break points as Henman puts the Spaniard under intense pressure on his first service game. Nadal finally serves an ace on game point to ensure he levels the score but Henman matches him at his own game from the baseline.
