 Myskina suffered a blip in form in the second set in Dubai |
Russian star Anastasia Myskina was taken to three sets by Zheng Zie of China in the Dubai Open on Monday. Myskina, seeded six, breezed through the first set 6-3, but lost on a tie-break in the second before romping home 6-1 in the third.
The number eight seed Daniela Hantuchova recovered from a set down against her Chinese opponent Li Na.
The Slovakian squeezed through 7-4 on a tie-break in the final set to win 3-6 6-4 7-6 for a place in round two.
