Top seed Mirza loses in Bangalore
Sania Mirza
Mirza became the first Indian woman to enter the top 50 last year
Top seeds Sania Mirza of India and Israel's Shahar Peer crashed out of the Bangalore Open on Wednesday.

Home favourite Mirza lost her second-round match to unseeded Camille Pin of France 1-6 7-5 6-2, while Maria Elena Camerin defeated Peer 6-4 6-2.

"She wasn't hitting the ball powerfully and I had to generate everything," said Mirza.

"It was hard playing someone like that. She played the best she could, and I didn't manage my best."
