Mirza became the first Indian woman to enter the top 50 last year |
Top seeds Sania Mirza of India and Israel's Shahar Peer crashed out of the Bangalore Open on Wednesday. Home favourite Mirza lost her second-round match to unseeded Camille Pin of France 1-6 7-5 6-2, while Maria Elena Camerin defeated Peer 6-4 6-2.
"She wasn't hitting the ball powerfully and I had to generate everything," said Mirza.
"It was hard playing someone like that. She played the best she could, and I didn't manage my best."
