Black and Huber eased to a two-set victory on Sunday |
Cara Black and Liezel Huber beat Svetlana Kuznetsova and Amelie Mauresmo to win the women's doubles at Wimbledon on Sunday. Zimbabwe's Black and Huber of South Africa came through 6-2 6-1 against the more high-profile singles stars.
Playing on Centre Court ahead of the men's singles final, second seeds Black and Huber quickly put their doubles knowledge into effect.
The pair broke serve at will, storming to victory in 63 minutes.
Black was defending the title she won last year with Renee Stubbs, when she beat Huber and Ai Sugiyama in the final.
