Unseeded Jeremy Chardy of France captured the boys' singles title at Wimbledon with a 6-4 6-3 win over Robin Haase of the Netherlands. Chardy, who beat top seed Donald Young in the semi-finals, follows compatriot Gael Monfils as boys' champion.
"When I see the list of previous winners, like Roger Federer, I am really impressed," said Chardy.
Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska beat 14-year-old Austrian Tamira Paszek 6-3 6-4 to take the girls' title.
"I'm really excited," said 16-year-old Radwanska.
"It is such a famous event. I was afraid of the grass when I first arrived but I improved on it with every match."
