| Venus Williams produces a superb display to beat defending champion Maria Sharapova 7-6 (7-2) 6-1 and reach her fifth Wimbledon final.
Here Hawk-Eye helps show how the two-time former champion's first serve proved to be the cornerstone of her game.
Williams got 70% of her first serves in and won 65% of the points on it. Venus served the ball into Sharapova's body - a sensible tactic against a tall player with a long reach.
There was no discernable change of tactic by Sharapova in the second set, suggesting she didn't work out Williams' tactics. She made just 65% of returns when Williams got her first serve in.
Aside from the serve, Williams generated 23 winners and made just 21 unforced errors. By contrast, Sharapova could manage only 13 winners, and hit 24 unforced errors.
