Swede Jonas Bjorkman and Belarussian Max Mirnyi rallied from a set down to win their first Grand Slam doubles title together at the French Open. The second seeds carved out a 2-6 6-1 6-4 over American twin brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, the number three seeds.
Bjorkman and Mirnyi avenged their semi-final defeat to the Bryan brothers at the Australian Open.
Mirnyi now has three Grand Slam doubles titles and reigning Wimbledon doubles champion, Bjorkman claimed his eighth.
The Swede won five of those with Australian doubles legend Todd Woodbridge, including a hat-trick of titles at Wimbledon between 2002 and 2004.
The Bryan brothers had previously won the Roland Garros title in 2003.
