World number one Federer has won 11 titles in 2005
Roger Federer was formally crowned year-end number one for the second year running in a ceremony in Shanghai.

The Swiss was greeted by thousands of screaming fans at the Qi Zhong stadium as he picked up his latest accolade.

The runaway world number one has won 11 titles in 2005, including a third straight Wimbledon and second US Open.

"I haven't lost the number one spot throughout the year and I'd like to keep that up and stand here again after 365 days," he said.
