Kim Clijsters thrashed top seed Amelie Mauresmo 6-1 6-0 to reach the final of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami. Clijsters, a former world number one who is unseeded at this tournament because of a long injury lay-off, lost just 10 points in the second set.
The Belgian is yet to drop a set in Miami and has now won 13 matches in a row, having taken the title at Indian Wells a fortnight ago.
It was 21-year-old Clijsters' seventh consecutive victory against Mauresmo.
Clijsters will meet second seed Maria Sharapova in the final after the Russian saw off Venus Williams in straight sets.

"Things have clicked into place really quickly," said Clijsters, who has lost just one match since returning to the WTA Tour in February after missing most of the 2004 season with a wrist injury.
"In Indian Wells it was like a dream and now it's even more amazing.
"I'm enjoying myself and everything is in place at the moment."
A humbled Mauresmo admitted: "She just played unbelievable tennis.
"She's in huge confidence, so everything that she goes for is in. She's hitting the ball better and harder than when she stopped.
"She has all the confidence. She has nothing to lose."
