US Open champion Kim Clijsters says she is not looking for another coach after parting company with Marc de Hous. The 22-year-old has already decided that she will retire in 2007 and believes she no longer needs guidance.
"I want to play my remaining two years without a coach. I don't need one any more," Clijsters was quoted as saying in Belgian newspapers.
"I think I'm adult enough to know what I have to do. I believe I know my body and my tennis better than anyone."
De Hous opted to step down after Clijsters collected her first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows.
