Wimbledon officials have been forced to bring forward the start time for Thursday and Friday following a third day of rain on Wednesday. Play will now start at 1100 BST on the outside courts and 1200 BST on Centre Court and Court One.
The covers did not come off at any stage on Wednesday and play was officially called off at 1845 BST.
Martina Navratilova, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick and Greg Rusedski were among those scheduled to play.
Delays on the first three days of the Championships have left organisers 173 matches behind the schedule. The men's doubles has already been reduced from five sets to three sets until the quarter-final stage at least.
And should the bad weather continue, the referee's office could decide to use the middle Sunday, although that decision is some way off.
