Hewitt will face Britain's Jonathan Marray in the third round |
Former Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt marched into the third round at the Stella Artois Championship with a 6-3 6-2 win over Spain's Marc Lopez. The sixth-seeded Australian had too much power and pace for Lopez, a clay-court specialist, to be able to handle.
France's Sebastien Grosjean, the fifth seed, also eased through with a 6-3 6-1 win over Australian Todd Reid.
Grosjean, who reached the final at Queen's last year, needed just 53 minutes to secure his victory.
