Henman climbs rankings
Tim Henman
Tim Henman has moved up to eighth in the world rankings after reaching the final of the Pacific Life Open.

It is a remarkable turnaround for the British number one, who had dropped out of the world's top 30 eight months ago.

"I couldn't be happier with the direction that my game's moving in," said Henman, who is also up to seventh in the ATP Champions Race.

Roger Federer, who beat Henman in Sunday's final, remains top of both lists, having lost just once this year.
