Ivanisevic eyes Milan return
Goran Ivanisevic
Ivanisevic has not played since June 2003
Former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic has been handed two wildcards as he attempts to make his competitive comeback.

The Croat, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, returns to action at the ATP Milan Indoors tournament which starts on 9 February.

Ivanisevic will then head to Rotterdam for the World Indoor tournament which he won eight years ago.

The 32-year-old former Wimbledon winner has not played since June last year.

The organisers of the Milan decided to give Ivanisevic a wild card entry as he won the tournament in 1996 and 1997.

Jiri Novak, defending champion Martin Verkerk, Nicolas Escude and Spanish teenager Rafael Nadal-Parera will also feature in the event.

Richard Krajicek, who is now the tournament director in Rotterdam, has also given wildcards to Dutchmen Raemon Sluiter and John van Lottum.
