| Wednesday, 18 December, 2002, 14:12 GMT Henman back in action ![]() Henman was troubled by his shoulder last season Tim Henman has reported no ill-effects after his first practice sesson since surgery on his shoulder. The British number one had a 25-minute work-out on Tuesday. "The really positive aspect is that when I woke up this morning my shoulder felt 100%," he said on Wednesday. "It's just a case of taking things one day at a time now."
The 28-year-old said most of the work-out was from the back of the court and he finished the session with about 30 half-pace serves. Henman admitted he felt some stiffness in his shoulder while serving, but said that was normal for anyone who was serving for the first time in more than a month. "The next step is to get back on court today (Wednesday) and increase the intensity slightly," he told his official website. "In addition I'll be continuing with my rehab and fitness work. "I still feel very positive about my chances of making it out to Australia for the start of the season. "But that still obviously depends on how my recovery progresses over the next couple of weeks." | See also: 13 Dec 01 | Tennis 02 Dec 02 | Tennis 01 Dec 02 | Tennis 11 Jan 99 | Tennis Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Tennis stories now: Links to more Tennis stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
