In three gruelling sets, Lee overcame home favourite James Blake after looking completely out of the match in the second set. The world number 135 from Worthing clinched a place in his first ATP final after a tie-break in the final set. American Blake had served for the match at 5-4 in the final set but the victor was delighted with his win. "I feel bad for James. He didn't do anything wrong in that game. "At 5-4 I just hit three of the best passing shots I've ever hit." Lee, who has reached three Challenger finals, was knocked out of Wimbledon in the second round by British number one Tim Henman. He will face South Africa's Neville Godwin, who beat Kenneth Carlsen of Denmark 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 7-6 (8-6), in the final. | Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Other top Tennis stories: Links to top Tennis stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
