Adam Binks, England
What drills do you use before a game in terms of your wicket-keeping?
I've got a set routine I use before every game. I begin with a lot of one-handed catching and then do some work with the bowlers. I usually have about 10 or 15 minutes with the seamers and then about the same time with the spinners.
Andy Taylor, England
What are your tips for standing up to medium pacers - especially stopping stuff down the leg side?
The biggest thing is to get your head in line with the ball. If you do that, then your hands will be in line as well which will help you judge how fast and where the ball is going.
This is particularly relevant when the ball is going down the leg side. If you can get your head down the leg side, it's easier to judge where it's going.
Alex, UK
How old were you when you started and what are the best things for young beginners to work on?
I was 13 when I started keeping. I got into it by accident when the Sussex U-13 keeper couldn't pitch so I volunteered to take his place.
One tip I can give to kids is that I've noticed that a lot of young keepers buy gloves that are too small. I don't mean that they're too small for their hands but too small to let the ball in. Top keepers always have gloves that look huge so that the ball can go in easily.
Max Healey, England
Is it a help for you that you have Tim Ambrose to battle with for the wicket-keeping spot or would you prefer to be keeping every game?
Half and half basically. As a keeper you want to play every game so that you can build up good relationships with bowlers. However, Tim is obviously an awesome player which is good for me as we can push each other to achieve higher standards.
The fact that he's been keeping recently has allowed me to field which I honestly enjoy doing. Overall, though, I enjoy having Tim there.
Nick Parr, England
Do you think that both you and Tim Ambrose will be able to stay at Sussex in the future as you are both excellent keeper-batsmen?
It very much depends on where we see ourselves as going. One of us may have to move if we decide that we want the keeper's gloves all the time, especially with the chance of playing international cricket for England coming up once Alec Stewart retires.
If one of us is happy just to field, then I don't think either of us will need to move on. If things change and we both want the gloves full-time then one of us would have to move I would've thought.
Dhundi, Ashford
There are rumours about you taking Alec Stewart's place in the side, how do you feel about this?
My name has been mentioned for this and I think I've got as good a chance as anyone else. Chris Read is in the limelight right now and he's doing pretty well. The important thing for me is to keep getting runs and keeping well when I get the chance. That will hopefully get me firstly on to the Academy and from there you never know what might happen.
Andy Saunders, Ringmer
What do you think has made things click this season in the County Championship and why with mostly the same players have you struggled in the one-day campaign?
If you look at Surrey a couple of years ago they won two County Championships in a row but their one-day form was abysmal. They've now got the measure of both games.
I think it takes a while if you're giving a 110% in the four-day game during the week to get back on track with the same intensity for a one-day game at the weekend. Obviously that's something we've got to improve on and I'm sure we will.
Max, Hove
Do you think that Sussex can go the extra mile this season and win the Championship? And how important has Chris Adams been in the recent revolution at the County Ground?
Absolutely and completely. This is the best chance we've had in a long time, being just four points behind Surrey. We've obviously still got a lot of work to do but I think it can go either way. I honestly believe we've got a great chance.
Chris Adams has been a huge influence and is a great leader who leads from the front. He's been a big inspiration as the side has improved.
Omar Mirza, UK
What has it been like keeping wicket to Mushtaq Ahmed this season? Do you find him difficult to read?
I'm picking him completely now. This is because that when he arrived at Sussex he took me aside and told me that we would do 10 overs after training of just himself and myself together. This allowed me to get all the problems out of the way in pre-season.
It's been awesome keeping to Mushy, just watching him do his work is incredible - he's an absolute genius.
I've learnt huge amounts from keeping to him and just talking to him.
Samantha, Hove
Did you enjoy the Twenty20 Cup format and have you got any suggestions to make it even better?
I loved playing in it, especially when we got our tempo right and started winning a few games. It was awesome fun.
I think the key for the Twenty20 is not now for the ECB to relax and think they've nailed it for the next 10 years. NCL cricket was new a few years ago and now everyone's bored with that. I think the key will be how they plan to keep it exciting - maybe changing the colour of the clothing or the colour of the ball, making it more like zonal cricket. Anything that keeps it fresh really.
