Sporting Big Brother: Who would you pick?
Send us your suggestions for a Sporting Big Brother
With plans afoot for another Celebrity Big Brother, BBC Sport Online wants your suggestions for a sporting version of the Channel Four show.

What sports stars would like to see in the Big Brother house?

This debate is now closed.

The only sport star to make it into the final six of the last Celebrity Big Brother was former boxer Chris Eubank, but just imagine the fun that could be had if it were a truly sporting affair!

Roy Keane and Alf Inge Haaland might take the opportunity to put their recent fall-outs behind them, while Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson would no doubt relish nine weeks in each other's company.

What sporting six would you like see under constant surveillance?

Send us your suggestions for Sporting Big Brother.

I'd pick Ian Thorpe, Annna Kournikova, Marion Jones, Johnathon Edwards, Natalie Du Toit, Beckham, Michael Owen, Wenger, Karen Legg, Mike Tyson, Steve Backley & Cathy Freeman.
Natalie Smith, England

Matthew Pinsent, Jonah Lomu, David Beckham, Tani Grey Thompson, Virginia Wade, Steve Davis. Boring - I think not, highly entertaining.
Lem, UK

Gazza, Garth Crooks, Roy Keane, Rivaldo, Austin Healey, Sir Alex Ferguson, Chris Eubank, Mike Tyson and Anna Kournikova. And then brick up the door.
Ben, UK

Vinnie Jones, Daniela Hantuchova, Barry John, Eric Cantona, Princess Anne, Shergar (subject to availability), Geoff Boycott, Giant Haystacks. Easy.
AJ, England

Peter Beardsley for pure intellectual stimulation!
Mark, England

Beckham, Raul, Totti, Owen, Ljungburg, Anders Svensson, and Kewell. They are all hot, and would all keep me happily glued to the screen!
Brooke Murdock, UK

Must include Peter Beardsley for pure intellectual stimulation!
Mark, England

Tatiana Grigorieva, Anna Kournikova, Gabriella Sabatini, and Denise Lewis - at least it would be more fun to watch than the normal Big Brother.
Nick, England

Marat Safin, Roy Keane, Ian Thorpe, Michael Jordan, Gazza, Kathy Freeman and Serena Williams.
Lucie, Northern Ireland

Eubank is the obvious candidate
James Sykes, England

Roy Keane, Alf Haaland, Mick McCarthy, John Motson, Kevin Keegan and Alex Higgins
Michael Bryon, Wales

I'd pick Ellen MacArthur and Lleyton Hewitt, because he'd probably annoy everyone. I'd also go for John McEnroe.
Rachel Walsh, England

Perhaps if the likes of Colin Montgomerie, Alan Shearer, Tim Henman, Michael Atherton and Steve Davis were placed in the Big Brother house, they would have the chance to dispel the images attributed to them by certain parts of the media.
Chris Hogger, UK

Eubank is the obvious candidate, which was illustrated by him being selected for the normal celebrity BB. Gazza and Austin Healey are prime contenders, being notorious funny men. How about John McEnroe, Martina Hingis or another such brat to create some arguments?
James Sykes, England
