Dunfermline were relegated after two late Inverness goals on the second-last day of the season as St Mirren saved themselves by recovering from a two-goal deficit to defeat Motherwell.
SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
Gretna clinched the title and promotion in the final minute of the final game against Ross County to finish just one point clear of St Johnstone.
County finished bottom as a result and are relegated, while Airdrie United joined them after losing their play-off with Stirling Albion, who were runners-up in Division Two.
SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIVISION TWO
Morton won the Division Two title after leading from the front all season long.
Second-placed Stirling join them in Division One next season after defeating third-top Raith Rovers then Airdrie United in the play-offs.
Forfar Athletic have had a miserable season and were relegated after their 9-1 thrashing by Morton.
Stranraer also went down after losing out in a relegation play-off with East Fife from Division Three.
SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIVISION THREE
Berwick Rangers secured the Division Three title with a 1-0 victory over nearest challengers Arbroath.
Queen's Park, who finished third, defeated Arbroath then East Fife to join Berwick in Division Two next season.
East Stirlingshire finished bottom for the fifth successive season, but there is no relegation.
