Soutar and Dundee had a disappointing season |
Aberdeen are still in negotiations with Dundee as they attempt to take goalkeeper Derek Soutar to Pittodrie. He is one of six higher-paid players who Dundee want to take a wage cut or move on altogether and they have given him permission to talk to Dons.
Aberdeen are understood to be ready to take on the 24-year-old's contract and give him a 12-month extension.
Ryan Esson, who has been second choice to Jamie Langfield this season, is leaving Aberdeen.
