The event, which will be held this year from 11-14 July at Loch Lomond Golf Club, will again offer �2.2m prize money, with a first prize of �336,660, down �30,000 from last year. European Tour executive director Ken Schofield and Lyle Anderson, president of Loch Lomond Golf Club, said Barclays' backing would help consolidate the event's reputation for attracting the world's best players.
