Retief Goosen won last year's Scottish Open
The Scottish Open is to be sponsored for the next five years by Barclays Bank.

The event, which will be held this year from 11-14 July at Loch Lomond Golf Club, will again offer 2.2m prize money, with a first prize of 336,660, down 30,000 from last year.

European Tour executive director Ken Schofield and Lyle Anderson, president of Loch Lomond Golf Club, said Barclays' backing would help consolidate the event's reputation for attracting the world's best players.

Last year's Scottish Open was won by South Africa's Retief Goosen.
