Magners League champions Ospreys will start their Heineken Cup campaign away to Amlin Challenge Cup finalists Toulon on Saturday 9 October.

The Scarlets, who only qualified because the Cardiff Blues beat Toulon in the Amlin Cup final, host Perpignan on the same day.

The Blues are also in action that day in Pool 1 at home to Edinburgh.

Newport Gwent Dragons start their Pool 6 campaign 24 hours earlier when they travel to Glasgow.

Champions Toulouse start their defence on Sunday at home to Wasps, while runners-up Biarritz are away to Bath.
