Wales women 3-15 France women Wales Women had only a Non Evans penalty to show for their efforts as they went down to defeat against their French counterparts at Bridgend. The defeat came after Wales bounced back from their opening 31-0 Six Nations defeat by England with a 28-12 win over Scotland. The hosts defended valiantly until finally cracking at the hour mark when their effort waned. France Women ran in three unconverted tries in the final quarter. Wales coach Jason Lewis said: "It was a poor performance and everyone is understandably disappointed. "We need to be beating sides like that if we are where we think we are in the world game. "I felt that we played most of the rugby in the first half but we failed to capitalise on our scoring opportunities."
