Stephen Jones feels his injured shoulder in the Dragons game |
The Scarlets have confirmed that the shoulder injury picked up by Stephen Jones in the 14-9 Magners League win at Newport Gwent Dragons is only minor. Jones will miss their Magners League trip to Munster on Sunday, but hopes to return when they host London Irish in the Heineken Cup on Sunday 17 January. He suffered the injury in the first half at Rodney Parade, but battled on until the 53rd minute. Wales boss Warren Gatland will welcome the news ahead of the Six Nations. Scarlets coach Nigel Davies said of 83-cap Jones: "He took a bit of a bang on his a/c joint, I don't think it's anything too serious." | 606: DEBATE |
"It's ok, just a little bit sore at the moment," Jones told BBC Sport Wales immediately after leaving the field.
