Scrum V's thoughts on Thomas citing Wales prop Rhys Thomas has been cleared of alleged use of the head on Shane Horgan in the Scarlets' 18-16 win over Leinster in Llanelli on Saturday. The 27-year-old was yellow carded by referee Neil Paterson in the 33rd minute of his Scarlets debut. The Welsh Rugby Union Professional Disciplinary Panel decided on Tuesday that the sin bin was sufficient punishment for the offence. Thomas is available for immediate selection at Glasgow on Sunday. Had he been found guilty of head-butting, the former Dragons player would have faced a minimum ban of six weeks.
