Cardiff's players celebrate their Principality Premiership triumph |
Cardiff are celebrating clinching their first Principality Premiership title in nine years after beating Pontypridd 27-22 at the Arms Park on Tuesday. Cardiff had to overturn a 17-7 half-time deficit to win thanks to late tries by Adam Powell and Chris Czekaj. Andy Williams also scored while fly-half Gareth Davies kicked 12 points to clinch Cardiff's third league crown. Neath, who won all the previous four Welsh titles, fought out a 19-19 draw at Cross Keys.
