Paul John will be looking for Wales to improve on poor pre-Christmas form

Wales Sevens will play Fiji, Argentina and Mexico in the next round of the International Rugby Board World Series, in the USA on 14-15 February.

Coach Paul John's side will be looking to improve in San Diego after exiting at the semi-final stage of the Bowl in their last two competitions.

Former Scarlets forward Dan Lyle is the tournament director.

"USA Sevens is about engaging a new rugby fan base through creating unique American entertainment," said Lyle.

The USA Sevens will also offer all the teams a final opportunity to prepare for the Rugby World Cup Sevens for both men and women on 5-7 March in Dubai.
