Gareth Jenkins was in charge of Wales for 18 months |
Former Wales coach Gareth Jenkins says he wants to return to coaching after five months away from the game. Jenkins was sacked by the Welsh Rugby Union in September after defeat to Fiji eliminated Wales from the World Cup.
But he told Scrum V Live: "I've been enjoying the break, watching plenty of rugby and nothing much else really.
"It is my intention to still work. I'd like to think there is another coaching appointment opportunity in me if the situation arises."

Jenkins, who watched Llanelli Scarlets 30-7 win over Glasgow on Friday night, has spent this week with London Welsh in the wake of coach Alex Codling's departure.
He is helping prepare the Old Deer Park club for their National League One clash with Launceston at the weekend.
Exiles chief executive Peter Thomas said: "I'm sure Gareth's involvement will give the guys a tremendous lift."
London Welsh are lying 11th in National League One and Thomas says Jenkins has the background to make an impact for Saturday's visit of the 15th-placed Cornish All Blacks.
But Jenkins refused to be drawn of whether there may be an opportunity at London Welsh or anywhere else.
He just said: "I have been busy out there in the community game."
