Both Rhys (in pic) and Ciaran have played for Ospreys youth |
Mike Ruddock is contemplating the possibility of his sons one day playing Test rugby against each other. Dublin-born flanker Rhys Ruddock is in the Wales under-18 squad and Swansea-born back-five forward Ciaran is with Ireland under-19s.
Neath signing Ciaran has led Ospreys under-20s and Rhys is a pupil at Gareth Edwards' old school, Millfield.
Mike said: "Who knows what will happen in their careers, but I and my wife Bernadette are very proud of them."
Worcester coach Ruddock, who guided Wales to the 2005 Grand Slam, added: "Neither of them has yet been picked for any teams yet, but they are in the squads.

"It's Ciaran's first training camp at the weekend and all we can be is happy they have both been recognised and given the chance.
"I was coaching Bective Rangers in Dublin when Rhys was born - we gave him the Welsh name and Ciaran was born in Wales and we gave him the Irish name."
Ciaran is studying for a business degree at University of Wales, Swansea and his and Rhys' mother Bernadette is Irish.
