| Get to know the team who make the Scrum V show... Former Swansea captain and Wales number eight Stuart Davies is a regular member of the Scrum V Live and Scrum V teams. How did you get into it? A week after I announced my retirement I was asked to do second voice with Edward Bevan for BBC Radio Wales, covering Swansea v Bath. It went OK, I enjoyed it, they asked me back, and slowly but surely I got asked to do more and more. Being captain of Swansea and being involved with Wales for six years I was always doing interviews and guested on Scrum V and so it was natural progression. I wasn't interested in coaching and wasn't ready for that role. Best and worst moments In rugby terms, my Wales debut in Ireland. Scoring the only try and winning the match was storybook stuff. Beating Will Carling's England in 1993 and being carried off in a "chair-lift" from the Arms Park was another incredible experience. Captaining Swansea to victory over the Australian world champions was right up there with them as well! The worst moments would be the World Cup experience in 1995. Something that should have been uniquely rewarding ended up being a huge disappointment - in terms of style of play, results and disharmony within the squad. Another bad time was France in 1998 at Wembley. I was recalled to a side that got stuffed and suffered a neck injury that ended my career. Advice to anyone hoping to reach the top Believe in yourself, back yourself and give yourself every opportunity to be the best you can be. Don't look back with regrets that you could have done something and didn't. What is the one thing that you would still like to do? I've fulfilled most roles in covering rugby, but not commentary, so wouldn't mind having more of a go at that. Other than that, to see my sons get as much out of sport as I have.
