| Get to know the team who make the Scrum V show... Former Wales and Lions star Robert Jones now works for Scrum V as a pundit as well as a summariser for BBC Radio 5live. How did you get into it? During my playing career I always did some work with Scrum V and BBC Radio Wales, and towards the end of my career I started working with BBC Radio 5live as a summariser. One of the reasons I finished playing when I did was because 5live offered me a contract to cover and report on Welsh club rugby. It was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. I then started writing a column for the "The Sun" newspaper and was given the opportunity to become a member of the current Scrum V team. Your best and worst moments In rugby terms, my best moments are difficult to split between my first Welsh cap, my first Lions tour to Australia in 1989, and beating Australia with Swansea. In terms of the media my best moment hasn't come yet! My worst rugby moment was every time I was dropped by Wales, and for the media it has to be sharing the summariser role with Rob Andrew for 5live on Wales v England games when Wales have lost! Advice to anyone hoping to reach the top You have to have ambition if you want to achieve anything in life. If you have the commitment and attitude to reach your ultimate goal there is no reason why you can't. You should always look to set yourself realistic goals, pass them, and set new ones. What is the one thing that you would still like to do? I would like this to be part of the resurgence of our national game.
