On returning home they face old rivals England at Twickenham (4 August), then Millennium Stadium ties with Argentina (18 August) and France (25 August).
In the World Cup, Wales face Canada (9 September) then games with Australia, Asia's top qualifier and Fiji.
The Wallabies will be familiar foes, as Wales open their 2006 autumn Tests series against them in Cardiff on 4 November.
Next summer's England fixture will revive bad memories for Welsh fans, then-coach Steve Hansen's side having hit the depths against them in the build-up to the 2003 World Cup.
Wales were hammered 43-9 at the Millennium Stadium by a second-string England outfit, Hansen later claiming that the warm-up games had been sacrificed as his squad built their power base ahead of the World Cup.
