New Zealander Paul Bunce is the new fitness and conditioning coach at the Newport Gwent Dragons. He takes over from Ryan Campbell, who has chosen to accept a position with the Welsh Rugby Union.
Napier-man Bunce, who has been in Wales for three years, impressed last season in charge of the Dragons Academy, a position now taken by Byron Haywood.
"From a conditioning point of view there have been major improvements in the academy," said Bunce.
"Some are faster, bigger and stronger than the senior regional and national players, all they lack is rugby experience."
