Exiles expect further struggles
After a successful season-long battle to avoid relegation from English National League One, London Welsh say they expect more tough times next year.

"Next season will bring extra demands," said head coach Martin Jones.

"The league has increased in size and more clubs are moving towards a full time, professional first XV.

"Resources will not allow us to follow suit in the foreseeable future, so our planning and preparation will be paramount to survival."

We will continue to work within the budget and strive for excellence
Martin Jones

The Exiles finished 12th this season, just one position (four points) above the bottom two relegation positions.

"As with all clubs, we will look to freshen the playing and coaching staff with some new recruits during the summer months," said Jones.

"But we will continue to work within the budget and strive for excellence, ensuring that we maintain London Welsh RFC in the top flight of national rugby."
