Wyatt is out of contract in the summer |
Llanelli Scarlets and Wales second row Chris Wyatt is thought to be on the verge of a move to Munster. The 30-year-old, 6ft 5in lock - who has 38 caps to his name - is out of contract at Stradey Park this summer.
He has made 280 appearances for Llanelli and the Scarlets since moving west from Neath in December 1995.
The Newport man retains international ambitions, but has struggled for a Scarlets spot this season and is likely to sign a two-year deal at Munster.
He would have to compete with the likes of Paul O'Connell and Donncha O'Callaghan for a place in the Irish province's first team, though.
His last Wales cap came as a replacement against New Zealand in the 2003 World Cup.
