Sidoli has been linked with a move to an English club

Sidoli joined the Blues in 2003 after the demise of the Celtic Warriors and has become an integral part of the team at the Arms Park.

The 6ft 5in lock played in every game of Wales' Grand Slam side last season.

He said: "I'm delighted to sign a new contract and I'm happy with the way things are progressing. There's real potential in the squad for success."

Blues chief executive Robert Norster added: "Rob's contract extension is a good move for both the region and the player.
