Llandovery College and Swansea RFC product Wyn-Jones, 20, stands at 6ft 5ins and has impressed for Wales Under-21 this season.

Pontypridd-man Evans, 21, made the bench for the senior side in the autumn, but was denied a chance to challenge for a Six Nations place when he was banned for kicking Harry Ellis in a Heineken Cup tie in December.

Coach Jones was pleased with his team despite the loss in Llanelli, and sees hope for Saturday's visit of Glasgow.

"We've dragged ourselves round since our capitulation at Cardiff Blues, we're setting targets and seeing improvements," he said.

"Duncan Jones has been at the forefront and has been phenomenal as a captain.

"We fronted up to the Scarlets and looked well organised and structured, but our kicking was poor and the result was disappointing.

The west Wales side will wait on the fitness of Adrian Cashmore (back) and Andy Lloyd (head).
