Williams has allayed fears that his career could be over |
Former Wales and Lions hooker Barry Williams says surgery on a bulging neck disc has saved his rugby career. There had been fears that the injury would spell the end for the Ospreys captain at the age of 32, but he could return by the end of the season.
"If the Ospreys need me at the end of the season to help them qualify for Europe I'll do my best," the 24-cap man told the South Wales Evening Post.
"Failing that, I'll definitely be around for the start of next season."
