Canada prop Rod Snow says the Test with Wales in Toronto on 11 June will be a learning experience for his side. "To be honest, we're a very, very inexperienced team," said the 34-year-old, who hopes to add to his 55 international caps this summer.
"We've got a lot of good young athletes and this will be a learning experience.
"Even with their Lions missing Wales will be a formidable outfit who should easily win, but anything can happen on the day in sport - that's our hope."
Snow was speaking after seeing his invitational side lose 78-63 against the Newport Gwent Dragons in his testimonial game at Rodney Parade.
He will return to his native Canada next week after 10 years of sterling service for Newport and the Dragons.
Although retiring from the professional game, Snow says he would like to continue playing in Canadian provincial rugby and hopes to be considered by the national team, for which he sees a bright future.
"Morgan Williams at scrum-half is a firecracker and a tough kid who can really make a young Canada team click," Snow told BBC Sport Wales.
"We also have a good fly-half in Jared Barker who is playing in the first division in England, and there's a lot of young talent coming through."
