Newport Gwent Dragons are counting the cost of losing top try scorer Gareth Wyatt for up to two months. The wing dislocated his elbow in Saturday's dead rubber Powergen Cup win over Worcester at Rodney Parade.
With back-to-back Heineken Cup matches against Munster looming, Dragons coach Paul Turner admits they have lost a cutting edge with Wyatt's injury.
"It's a massive blow to lose Gareth and with injuries we already have we are now without a right wing," Turner said.
Wales back Hal Luscombe has been out with a broken hand, leaving Turner with limited options.
"As well as his try scoring, Gareth's all-round play this season has been excellent," Turner added.
"He has been solid in defence and provided a kicking option that often got us out of trouble."
