Coach Lyn Jones felt the Ospreys got their just rewards after beating Edinburgh to win the Celtic League. "It's a fantastic feeling, it's been a lot of hard work and I'm delighted to see so many good players fulfilling their potential," Jones said.
"We came out and were positive, fortunately so were Edinburgh, and we both put some good rugby together.
"But on the night the win was ours and now we can look forward to moving on to bigger things."
The Ospreys will have the use of a 20,000-seater home next season at the new Morfa stadium on the outskirts of Swansea, which they will share with Swansea City Football Club.
And Jones is determined that the Ospreys will continue to improve and become a force in the Heineken Cup as regional rugby in Wales goes from strength to strength.
"We're delighted to take this league title but next year we really want to do better in Europe," Jones added.
"We've centralised and pooled our resources, moved things on, learnt a great deal about rugby union and caught the Irish up."
