Owen agrees new deal with Dragons
Michael Owen
Owen is strongly tipped for a Lions tour place this summer
Wales number eight Michael Owen has signed a new three-year contract to remain with Newport Gwent Dragons.

Former international prop Chris Anthony will stay on for a further two years, while lock Ian Gough and back Nathan Brew are in contract negotiations.

Dragons chief executive Andy Marinos said: "Obviously Owen is a pretty significant signing for us.

"He has new and innovative ideas and is the type of guy who will be the nucleus of the Dragons for the next few years."
